Concept of food poisoning and food storage and food preservation

Commodities and Costing- the importance of food costing and cost dynamics

Brief introduction of Tea, Coffee, Cocoa
Introduction of computers for accounting records and controls

Career opportunities

After successful completion of diploma in food production students can gain employment in fast-food restaurants, cafeterias, schools, hospitals, non-profit organizations, government agencies, storage facilities, and farms. After advanced courses and training students can look for supervisory positions like Cook, Assistant Chef, Food Supplier, Banquet Manager, Purchasing Manager, or Food Production Director, among others.
